Drywall & interior fit-out
Moving walls, dropping ceilings, dividing rooms. We build the studwork so that you can still screw a cabinet rail into it years later.
Most drywall failures happen not during the build but two years afterwards. Studwork without noggins at the fixing points will not carry a wall unit. A ceiling without an access hatch has to be cut open the moment a ventilation motor fails. Both cost more later than they would have cost at build time, and neither shows up on the invoice.
CW profiles at 62.5 cm standard centres, UW profiles with acoustic sealing tape for structural decoupling. Centres reduced to 41.7 cm on request where heavy loads are planned.
Plasterboard, moisture-resistant board in wet rooms, fire board where required. Second layer staggered so joints do not telegraph through.
For pipe runs, cable trays and sanitary frames. We agree positions with your electrician and plumber in advance rather than chasing walls afterwards.
Direct or nonius hangers depending on drop and load. Access hatches wherever plant sits, sized and positioned with your sign-off.
Mineral wool in the cavity, sealed junctions at floor, ceiling and flanking walls. A partition's acoustic performance is decided by its junctions, not by board thickness.
We measure ourselves instead of costing from your figures. While there we check substrate, ceiling height and where services run.
Items broken out individually: studwork, boarding, insulation, jointing. You can see what could be cut.
Airlocks at every doorway, floor protection, daily rough clean. The rest of the property stays usable.
Joint walk-through, defects recorded with a date for rectification. Photo record sent digitally the same day.
A single-boarded partition with insulation starts at EUR 38 per sqm net. Double boarding, moisture or fire board and service walls cost more; suspended ceilings start at EUR 42 per sqm net depending on the drop.
Without a survey this is an estimate. What ends up in the quote depends on ceiling height, access and substrate.
All prices net, VAT not included.
Yes, if there is a noggin in the studwork at that point. That is why we ask before boarding where cabinets, a television or a basin will hang, and photograph the positions. Retrofitting is only possible with specialist fixings and at a considerably lower load.
A double-boarded wall with mineral wool in the cavity and properly sealed junctions achieves around 50 dB in practice. The most common fault is not thin boarding but an open gap at the floor or a socket box running straight through. We seal both.
Two people build and board a wall of around 12 sqm in a day. Jointing then needs two or three passes over two to three days, because each coat has to dry. Rapid-set filler shortens that but sets harder and sands less easily.
Not without a structural engineer. We build the replacement, meaning lintel and beam, to a structural engineer's specification and carry out the strip-out. The calculation itself you have to commission separately; we can name two practices in Gütersloh.
Two minutes of form, then we get in touch to arrange the survey. Or send a short WhatsApp message, which is the fastest of all.
